Wiggleroom
Caterpillars go into their cocoon with confidence of wiggling out to become a beautiful butterfly. This cowl begins & ends with a ribbing of small cables that mimic caterpillars, with a center of beautiful butterflies & cocoons. All coming together to wrap you in pretty warmth and style.
You can work this cowl in a one or two colors, sport or fingering. I believe it would even work well in a light worsted; though I have not yet tried it. Most of my patterns are flexible enough to do this with an adjustment of needle size & yardage requirements. The busyness of the pattern makes it unnecessary for a gauge check, more important that your edging & center yarns are compatible in size.
There are a couple special tweaks of stitches, with an explanation of how to work them & a photo journal to see them worked included on the pattern. Also, the written sts & charts are separate so that you can choose to print only those parts you are interested in using. Saving you both paper & ink.
Take time to read through the pattern before embarking on this journey & you should thoroughly enjoy the knit. The charts are easy to memorize making it a fun knit, one you can do with little need to check back.
Thank you for taking time to enjoy a little Wiggleroom, please do take time to make a project page & share photos of your journey from caterpillar to beautiful butterfly.
