Bright Yellow

With this pattern, you’ll create an adorable Bellsprout from the Pokémon series. With a slender twig body and little root feet, this project is a great stash buster project as it uses very small amounts of various colors.

This pattern is recommended for intermediate skill levels or above, though could feasibly be tackled by a spirited beginner!

Gauge is not critical to this project, but you should crochet tightly enough to hide any fiberfill used to stuff your project later.

** It is important to note that the head and leaves were crocheted with two strands of yarn held together to make these pieces sturdier and fuller in appearance. While this is not necessary, you may need to adjust to a larger hook size on these two sections to achieve the proper proportions.

Using the suggested hook and yarns, your Bellsprout will measure approximately 8” long (from head to end of roots) and 7” wide from leaf tip to leaf tip… and be the best there ever was!
