Wild Card Shawl
About this Pattern
This is an Adventurous Beginner Level shawl that is great for using mismatched and single skein yarns. This pattern has 2 large solid sections accented by a filet section for added interest. It is a simple pattern that makes any yarn choices look amazing! This shawl is worked top down, uses easy repeats, is reversible, and triangular in shape.
Materials
-2 skeins of any DK or Worsted Weight yarn that have a minimum of 400 yards each
-4.00mm hook for DK and 5.00mm hook for Worsted
-Stitch Marker
Measurements and Gauge
-The sample shawl was made with Worsted Weight yarn, it has a 60-inch wingspan and a depth of 32 inches, with approximately 800 yards used.
-Blocking is best to show stitch definition.
-Gauge isn’t highly important and hook size can vary for the yarn weight and desired drape. A larger hook size will give more drape, while a smaller hook size will result in less drape.
