Wild flower meadow shawl
Wild flower meadow shawl
Walking through fields full of flowers…
Meadow flowers : cornflowers, wild roses, buttercups, ….
Full of colour, full of energy.
The body of the shawl is formed by a simple lace-pattern repeat. The size is easy adjustable by just adding more pattern repeats.
The edging is formed by rows of meadow flowers : I used 3 different colours to express summer beauty and summer energy.
The yarn I used is Dye For Yarn Mulberry Silk, love the yarn : it is so soft, has a wonderfull shine and it gives the shawl that extra bit of luxury I wanted.
Colours : Dolphin in my Whirlpool (grey), shattered turquoise, electric light purple and drunken acurn bloom. (for the entire edging I needed 400 meters of yarn in total)
The edging is also easy adjustable and can of course worked in as many colours as you prefer, or even in 1 single shade.
Fully written pattern : US terms or Dutch.
I have included 2 charts : 1 for the body of the shawl and 1 for the edging.
Many thanks to my testing panel.
