(Formerly “Animal Eyes” series, renamed to “Wild Heart”)

This pattern is for a mosaic crochet square that can be used in other types of projects, such as blankets, pillows, satchel bags, table mats, etc.

Any yarn or hook will work, depending on the desired size of the finished square. I used yarn weight of 4 with a 5.5 hook, which creates a square of 13.5” x 13”.

This is a great way to use up scraps! I used just under 2 oz of med grey & red for the cat’s face & background, along with under .5 oz of black, gold, light grey & white for the details.
