Three Birds Yarn Studio
This worsted weight ‘Wild Iris Beanie’ uses a combination of cable knitting and slipped stitches for a fun textured knit. The right and left leaning cable crosses come together to form a circle design that is scattered between columns of slipped and passed over stitches. I have suggested two yarns from Juniper Moon Farm that work great for this design. With the suggested yarns, you will only need 1 skein. (I have both yarns in stock in my shop threebirdsyarnstudio.com
Included with this pattern are instructions in both written and chart form, depending on your preference. The brim of the hat is 5” (13cm) long and then folded in half. Feel free to remove brim rounds for an unfolded brim if you prefer. For knitting a standard brim, I recommend knitting the brim rounds for 2/2.5” (5/6 cm) before moving onto the body of the hat. Enjoy!
