Wild Joy
Pattern Details
Named for the unbridled excitement that knitters feel as temperatures dip and the leaves shift hues, Wild Joy’s playful colorwork and cozy details make it a sweater that you will love to knit, wear and show off.
The stranded colorwork yoke features memorizable repeats using only two colors per round and short floats. Personalize your Wild Joy with a “perfectly you” color palette. Bold & bright, earthy neutral or low contrast combinations are all perfectly suited to Wild Joy! The sweater’s elongated cuffs can be worn down to chase away the winter chills or folded back when needed.
Construction
Knit from the top down in the round, Wild Joy features a gender neutral, relaxed fit. The yoke is cast on and short rows are worked to raise the back of the neck for a comfortable fit. The color work yoke is knit, then the body and sleeves are separated and worked from the top down. The only finishing is to pick up the stitches at the neck and work the neckline.
Selecting A Size
