Wild Pink Shawl is named after the wool dye I used. I was looking for some bright shades and once I set my eyes on the package called ‘Wild Pink’ I knew I found what I needed. The shawl is crescent shaped, started in the middle. The volume is built up by increasing at the inner edge.

The shawl is easy to knit as it uses only basic lace stitches. It can be a great shawl for a novice lace knitter with spectacular results!

Sizing is adaptable, you choose how big the shawl is going to be by adding more repeats of the body section. You can also work an optional stockinette section to start with.

Any yarn from lace to DK weight will look good on the shawl. Consequently, needles should be adapted to the yarn used and the degree of lacy effect that you desire to achieve. I personally prefer to knit lace with larger size needles to get it really lacy.

Beading is optional, there is a suggestion on where to place beads but you can use your imagination and preferences as well.

Pictured shawl was knitted with light fingering yarn I dyed myself on US 6 – 4mm needles and with three repeats of the body pattern. I used up 350m / 385 yards to obtain shawl that measures approx. 180 x 51cm/70 x 20” blocked.

Dziki Róż to nazwa farbki, jakiej użyłam do farbowania wełny. Szukałam jakiegoś wyrazistego koloru, i ‘dziki róż’ od razu przypadł mi do serca.

Szal ma kształt półokrągły, rozpoczyna się go na środku i stopniowo dodaje kolejne oczka. Rozmiar można dowolnie modyfikować powtarzając wzór, można też dodać część początkową ściegiem gładkim.

Szal można wydziergać z dowolnej grubości włóczki. Druty należy dobrać do grubości włóczki oraz do wielkości ażuru, jaki się chce uzyskać.

Chusta na zdjęciu została wydziergana z 70gr / 350m wełny na drutach 4mm. Jej wymiary wynoszą 180cm x 51cm po zblokowaniu.

Le châle Rose Vibrant a été nommé ainsi à cause de la couleur de la laine que j’ai teintée moi-même. Je cherchais quelque chose de vibrant et dès que j’ai pose les yeux sur ce paquet de «rose vibrant», j’ai su que j’avais trouvé ce que je cherchais !

Le châle est en forme de croissant, commencé par le milieu. Le volume se construit en augmentant sur les bords extérieurs.

La taille est adaptable, vous choisissez si vous le voulez plus grand en ajoutant des motifs dans la partie du corps. Vous pouvez aussi commencez par une bande de point jersey optionnelle.

Toutes les qualités et grosseurs de fils peuvent être utilisées, du fil dentelle au fil classique DK. Vous devrez alors adapter vos aiguilles â votre travail pour conserver l’effet dentelle du patron.

Le châle en photo a été obtenu en étant tricoté avec un fil dentelle que j’ai teinté moi même et des aiguilles 4 (US 6). 350m (385 yards) ont été utilisés pour obtenir un châle aux dimensions approximative de 180 x 51cm une fois bloqué.
