Wild Redbud is a large elongated triangle shawl that utilizes 2 full skeins of fingering weight yarn, plus 2 contrast colors of mohair lace that add contrasting texture and softness. This shawl is a beautiful canvas to play with color and maybe do a little stash busting. Lice stitch dots are mirrored with rows of eyelets and bordered with garter stitch stripes, offering enough changes to keep you interested without being difficult.

Yarn:
MC1: 460 yards / 420 meters, fingering weight
MC2: 460 yards / 420 meters, fingering weight
CC1: 300 yards / 274 meters, lace weight held double or 150 yards / 137 meters, fingering weight
CC2: 385 yards / 352 meters, lace weight held double or 192 yards / 176 meters fingering weight

Needles: US 5 (3.75 mm)

Gauge: 18 sts and 20 rows per 4” / 10 cm in sts stitch, after blocking. Gauge is not too important for a successful project, but will affect final yardage and size.

Dimensions: 77” / 196 cm across the top, 33” / 84 cm depth, 73” / 185 cm down each side
