Wild ride is a sock pattern with an alternative construction. The entire sock is knit flat in a modular style with all the joining completed as you go.

The combination of the Chain stitch pattern and the beautiful self-striping yarn work together to create this fun sock, reminiscent of summers spent at the beach carnival enjoying all the wild rides.

This sock was designed with self striping yarns in mind, but works well with scraps also, as shown in socks knit by testers.

While the pattern includes notes on customising the length of the sock, please be aware that the stitch pattern and construction are not suitable for a knee length sock.
