Wild Rumpus Suit for Blythe
Let the wild rumpus begin!
Blythe is showing off her wild side in this cute suit.
The jumpsuit starts flat using raglan increases and and then is joined in the round for the lower torso, legs and sleeves. The buttons are working and the only closures. The tail is picked up directly and knitted in the round. Dark thread is added at the tip to give it texture.
I chose to make a hat rather than a hood because all Blythes aren’t made equally. Some girls have thick hair and others thin. The hat is designed to come farther down in the back using short rows.
In the photos the ears and hat are one piece, but in the pattern is it is written for the ears to be sewn on instead.
The crown is separate but can be sewn on if you desire.
A bead is needed for the center of the specter.
Polyfil and a pipe cleaner maybe needed if you want.
