Wilderness Beanie
Head out into nature with this comfy and warm fold up style Wilderness Beanie. This is a crochet pattern that has been designed to look like knitting with ribbing and mock purls.
It is recommended that Lion Brand Heartland yarn is used for the pattern however, the pattern will also work up well with Red Heart Soft yarn. You’ll need an I (5.50mm) Hook and one ball of either yarn brand.
You will need to be familiar with slip stitch crocheting (this hat uses 2 types of slip stitches to achieve the knit look), maintaining stitch gauge throughout a project, working flat in rows with seaming edges together and, closing up a top of a hat. All techniques are outlined in the pattern and some photos have been included to help.
A guide has been provided within the pattern to help with adjusting the size of the beanie to fit newborns all the way through to adult large/men’s sizing.
Thank you for your interest in the Wilderness Pattern, I hope you enjoy working with it!
