Three Birds Yarn Studio

The ‘Wildflower Hand Towel’ is a cute and functional accessory for your kitchen or bathroom. The basketweave texture is created from only knit and purl stitches so it is a great beginner friendly project. This project works best with 100% cotton so it will hold its shape and be absorbent. With 100% cotton, it is also able to be machine washed and dried.

Gauge
Using US 5 (3.75mm) needles:
8 sts and 12 rows make a 2” (5 cm) square in stockinette stitch, worked flat

Materials
256 total yards (234m/152g) of worsted weight yarn (I used Lily Sugar ‘n Cream, 100% cotton)
US 5 (3.75mm) circular needles with a 16” cord or longer
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
