Wildflower Honey Cowl
There’s snow on the ground but I’m already dreaming of sunshine, wildflowers, and busy bees! The Wildflower Honey Cowl features alternating rows of a textured floral stitch. The pattern includes instructions for making the cowl in both fingering and worsted-weight yarns, and is provided in both written and charted formats. Sample shown in fingering-weight yarn.
Fingering-weight version
◦320 meters (350 yards) of yarn
◦3.5 mm (US Size 4) 20-24” circular needles
◦3.0 mm crochet hook
Gauge: 24 sts and 34 rows over 4” (10 cm) in pattern, after blocking.
The finished cowl measures 24” (61 cm) in circumference and 14” (36 cm) in height.
Worsted-weight version
◦300 meters (330 yards) of yarn
◦4.0 mm (US Size 6) 20-24” circular needles
◦3.5 mm (US Size E) crochet hook
Gauge: 20 sts and 27 rows over 4” (10 cm) in pattern, after blocking.
