Wildflower Honey
Wildflower Honey socks are the perfect combination of speckled yarn with a solid colour, coupled with a small amount of patterning and vanilla these make an interesting and yet relaxing knit.
Included are instructions for cuff down and toe up socks.
Yarn:
MC 275-330yds/250-300m Fingering 4ply sock yarn.
CC 165-220yds/150-200m Fingering 4ply sock yarn.
(sample was knit in The Wool Barn Luxury Sock in Rose Garden for the MC and Eden Cottage Yarns Oakworth 4ply in Summer Harvest for CC)
Needle and Gauge:
2.25mm/US size 1 needles in your preferred sock circumference knitting method
Sample was worked at a gauge of 36 sts and 48 rows = 4” 10cm stockinette stitch using 2.25mm needles (blocked) and 40 sts and 56 rows + 4” 10cm in pattern cable stitch (blocked).
Please be aware any changes in gauge may affect your yardage and finished size.
Skills Required:
1/1RC, 1/1LC, m1-R, m1-L, k, k1-tbl, k2tog, p, p2tog, ssk, w+t
Notions:
1 stitch marker/progress keeper, to mark the start of the round
Finished Size:
Foot circumference 7” (8”, 9”)
