Designed and crocheted for Knitting from the Heart
Minnesota Yarn Shop Hop 2025
Welcome to the 2025 MN Yarn shop hop! The theme this year is In the Garden. These crocheted fingerless mitts are part of the Wildflowers theme selected by Knitting from the Heart. We hope you enjoy the pattern and the HOP!
Thank you for your incredible generosity in donations for area food shelves.

Materials
One skein (138 yards/125 grams) Aran weight. 100% Superwash Merino, by Trippin’ with Dixie, signature yarn for Knitting from the Heart for the Minnesota Yarn Shop Hop.
Size H 8 (5mm) crochet hook.
Locking stitch markers. Yarn needle.

Pattern Notes
Pattern will begin with a strip of ribbing at the wrist. After joining the last row to the first, stitches are picked up around the top edge of the ribbing.
The mitts are crocheted in a spiral. Keep track of the beginning of the rounds by placing a locking stitch marker into the first stitch of the first round and moving it into the first stitch of each subsequent round.
Increases for the thumb gusset are made on each side of the marker.
Size: 7” in circumference at the wrist and hand, 8” in length from wrist edge to finger edge. Gauge is 3 sts./in. and 3 rows/in.
