The Amigurumi Wildlife Adventure introduces some of the wonderful, unique and endangered creatures from the different corners of our planet. There are 12 creatures to make, with a mixture of land and sea animals and other wild things.

These little woodpeckers use their short bills to borrow into softwood, making nests and looking for bugs. For the Piculet, we mixed plain and patterned yarn to represent the speckled feathers.

The pattern is written in US crochet terms, with plenty of step-by-step images to guide you along the way.

The project can be made with your preferred yarn, all the samples were made in DK-weight cotton with a 3.0mm hook.
