Wildspun Wrap
by Beata Jezek
I love handspun yarn combined with simple textures. I really enjoyed watching the colours shift while knitting this lovely oversized wrap. it comes together seamlessly at the end with a three needle bind off and a garter stitch border with a cute picot cast off.
For this shawl I spun one 250g pack of Hedgehog Fibres Lucky Dip Fibre in ‘Pastels’. I ended up using 230g of finished yarn which comes to approx. 966m (420m/100g).
If you are not using handspun, 2 row stripes with colours of choice would look really pretty. For a similar lofty feel, I would recommend Hedgehog Fibres Oh So Fine Merino (100% Merino, 425m/100g) in a choice of 4 colours, A, B, C and D (or more).
