When the last st before turning is a purl st: Before turning, bring yarn to the back, slip the next st to the RH needle, bring yarn to the front, slip the st back to the LH needle, turn the work. The yarn is in the correct position to knit the first st on the LH needle. When working the slipped st on a later row, work the st and wrap together to prevent a hole.

This vest is knit in one piece from side-to-side. The garment is shaped with short rows, and the ever-popular Ripple yarn creates a textured look.
