Willamette Falls Shawlette
The original pattern and a later update both contain errors. The pattern is no longer being supported and is unavailable.
This pattern was originally published as Wool ‘N Wares Yarn Shop’s contribution to the 2015 Rose City Yarn Crawl, March 5 – 8, 2015 in Portland, Oregon.
This is a crescent-shaped shawlette that is knitted from the top-down, incorporating 5 sections of lace and textured stitches. Each section is twenty rows or less, and the sections are separated by several rows of garter stitch. The shawlette’s increases are incorporated into the separating garter stitch rows, and there are also increases at both ends of every row. The multiple lace sections of this beautiful shawl have a striking resemblance to the Willamette Falls and all the cascading water.
