Willapa Bay
Willapa Bay is bohemian style, high-low skirt perfect for summer days and walks on the beach. With four colors and four lace stitch patterns that blend perfectly into each other, this skirt is full of texture and endless color combinations! The skirt is knitted from the waistband down and the curved hem/high-low silhouette is created with invisible german-short rows before the lace sections are knit. The lace stitch patterns are simple and are each based on an 8 stitch repeat which makes them easy to memorize. Knit in a DK weight cotton/linen blend, this fun summer skirt will fly off the needles with a beautiful drape and lightweight feel.
Willapa Bay is one of the four patterns included in the Sidewalk to Seashore collection. Designed in the soft and summery Knit Pick’s Cotlin and inspired by the coast, this collection includes a lace skirt, a twisted racerback vest, an asymmetrical shawl and a fringed triangle cowl. Easy living, no fuss, beach-y summer style - enjoyable to knit and to wear!
