This cardigan is intended to be worn with 1-3 inches of negative ease. For best results, choose the next size down from your actual bust measurement.
Cardigan is knit from the top-down, then collar stitches are picked up and knit in the knit/purl arrow pattern.
Materials:
Finch by Quince and Co. (100% American wool, 50 gram skein = approx 221 yards)
• 8 (9, 10, 10, 11, 11, 12, 12, 13) skeins Camel
• Approx yards: 1700 (1850, 2015, 2100, 2220, 2365, 2515, 2605, 2725)
Needles:
• One 29” circular (circ) needle size US 6 (4 mm). (Body is worked flat, circ needle is used to accommodate large number of sts)
• One set double pointed needles (dpns) size US 6 (4 mm). (for sleeves)
Or size to obtain gauge.
Notions:
• Stitch markers
• Large stitch holders or waste yarn
• Tapestry needle
Gauge: 24 sts and 34 rows = 4” in Stockinette Stitch. Take time to save time, check your gauge.
