I designed The William and Willie Mittens to match the William Beanie and Cowl, the Willie Beanie and Cowl, the William Scarf, and the William and Willie Earwarmer patterns which were created in honor of my son James’ special dog William. James and William are inseparable friends!

This pattern is written for 2 yarn weights: super bulky, such as Malabrigo Rasta, and bulky, such as Malabrigo Chunky, Baah Sequoia, or Manos del Uruguay Franca.

This is an advanced beginner/intermediate level knitting pattern. You will need scissors, stitch marker, darning needle, DPNs in these sizes:

Needles - 3 DPNs
Bulky - US 9/5.5 mm and US 10.5/6.5 mm
Super Bulky - US 10.5/6.5 mm and US 11/8 mm
