William the Sloth Bear
Originally designed as part of Ed’s Animals Club in 2018, William the Sloth Bear is now a well-seasoned member of Kerry Lord’s crochet menagerie and has helped countless crocheters learn more intermediate techniques like ‘loop stitch’ and complex colour changing. Native to India and parts of Sri Lanka, sloth bears are the most nocturnal of all living bear species and have some unique qualities that include a speciality in eating termites and ants, carrying their young on their backs and fighting off tigers. With his fluffy ears and cute nose, this woolly sloth bear sits much smaller than his wild cousins and is the ideal pattern for any wild animal fans in your life.
This soft toy will look at home in the nursery, sitting on the shelf or lovingly gift-wrapped for the loved ones in your life. Once you’ve finished crocheting William the Sloth Bear, you’ll be ready to start the next animal in the collection with this addictive new hobby!
TOFT’s Edward’s Menagerie collection is a series of crochet amigurumi toys designed by Kerry Lord.
