Williamsburg is in the heart of historic Virginia, and it conjures up images of powdered wigs, men in breeches and stockings, and women with wide hoopskirts and voluminous petticoats.

Pattern Notes
Williamsburg is a cabled and bobbled cowl, knit in the round from the bottom up. There is nothing really difficult about the pattern, but because it is knit in fingering weight yarn and requires attention to detail, I would place it at the Intermediate level.

16-inch and 24” US #5/3.75 mm circular needle or size required to get gauge
16-inch and 24” US #4/3.5 mm circular needle for ribbing

Note: The sts work best with a 24” needle for the first half of the cowl and switching to a 16” when you have fewer sts. Alternatively, you could just use the 16” needle for the entire cowl.
