The Willow Creek slouchy hat is a great warm hat for the colder months. This is a great hat for those who are just starting out on learning cables or other more complex stitches beyond the basics.

The pattern includes instructions for how to alter the size of the pattern. It’s also easy to change the size of the yarn to make the hat if you have some great DK weight yarn you’d like to use or something else! I do recommend using a yarn with a good drape to get the slouchy look.
