Willow Shawl
Willow is possibly the most versatile shawl pattern you can have in your collection. The pattern comprises of 3 charts and can be made from many variations of the 3 charts, work Charts A and B as many times as you like, or skip out chart B and work just charts A and C - this is a pattern you will be using time and time again without making any 2 shawls that look the same. if you only buy one shawl pattern you will not regret making it this one!
The pattern can be made using lace weight yarn or 4 ply or even DK adding to its versatility.
The pictured shawl was made by adding one extra repeat of chart A, 2 full repeats of chart B and finally Chart C and used 740m of lace weight yarn using 3.25mm needles and measures 80cm depth and 180cm wingspan. It will be very easy to make a smaller shawlette or larger shawl from this pattern.
The pattern also includes the instructions for two different Bind Off techniques - plain and picot. The pictured shawl was finished off with the pretty picot bind off.
The pattern is charted form only, with 3 clear and easy-to-read charts. There are no row-by-row written instructions. All WS rows are purled thanks to the use of Popcorns (which are worked entirely on the RS row) rather than nupps.
