Willow the Pig
Easy to follow instructions for knitting and felting your own Perky Pig
Willow is knitted in the round for the body and head and flat for the legs and ears. Once knitted the pieces are felted (fulled) before assembly. Once assembled you have the perfect form for adding needle felted detail to bring your Piggy to life and for a totally unique realistic appearance.
You will also need:
85g Pink 100% wool yarn (Not Super-wash DK weight, I used King Cole Masham Misty Barley, now discontinued)
brown, black and white needle felting wool
1 x pair 4mm Knitting needles
! x set of 4 4mm double pointed pins
knitters needle for sewing up
Toy filling
felting needle.
Tension 22 sts and 28 rows to 10 cm square, measured over st st using 4mm needles.
Not suitable for children.
