Thank you so much for checking out my Willow the Witch lovey crochet pattern. You can access the free pattern from my website here, and you can also download the free PDF pattern by signing up to my newsletter via the same link.
The PDF pattern also includes a lot of photo tutorials for assembly, the bobble stitch, and also embroidery. However, these photo tutorials are at the end of the pattern so they don’t get in the way for any advanced crocheters.

Pattern notes
- Crochet Level: Intermediate
- Terms & Language: US Terms in English only.
- Measurements: Using the hook sizes and yarn specified within this pattern, the completed comforter is 34 cm / 13.4” high (from the top of the witch’s hat to the base of the blanket) x 35 cm / 13.8” wide (across the blanket).
- Photos: The PDF crochet pattern includes photo tutorials for all crocheted parts, assembly, embroidery, and a bonus booble stitch tutorial. The PDF can be downloaded by signing up to my mailing list on my website here.
- Technique: All parts are crocheted in rounds. Amigurumi parts are in continuous rounds, and blanket requires a join at the end of each round.
- Sewing: There is some sewing involved in this pattern, but only to join parts together.
- Eye Options: There are instructions within the pattern for either safety eyes or embroidered eyes. Safety eyes are not recommended if making the lovey for children under 3 years of age.
Gauge
Gauge is not required for this pattern. However, for reference, the gauge I used is below.
Amigurumi (Witch):
5 cm x 5 cm = 12 rows x 11 sc stitches
Comforter (Blanket):
5 cm x 5 cm = 4 rows x 8 dc stitches
