Willow Winds Hat
The Willow Winds Hat is two hats in one. Work from the crown of the first layer to the crown of the second layer and put one layer inside the other for one hat, and vice versa for the second.

Finished Size 15 (16½, 18)“ circumference at brim and 9” tall. Hat shown measures 15”.
Yarn Universal Yarn Bella Cash (60% superwash fine Merino wool, 30% nylon, 10% cashmere; 230 yd/1¾ oz): #104 sea (blue; A) and #105 ice (gray; B), 1 (2, 2) ball(s) each.
Needles Size 2 (2.75 mm): 16” circular. Size 3 (3.25 mm): 16” circular and set of double-pointed. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Markers; cable needle; tapestry needle.
Gauge 32 sts and 35 rnds = 4” in First Layer chart patt.
Notes This hat is worked in one piece beginning with the crown of the first layer and ending with the crown of the second layer. The second half is tucked inside the first half.
Errata:
The symbol that appears in Layer 2, Row 1 over stitches 4, 5, and 6 had an incorrect definition in the key. This is how to actually work the stitch:
1x1x1 Left Purl Cross (LPC) Sl next st to cn and hold in front, RPT from left needle, k1 from cn.
