Willow wood beanie
Get ready for your next trek through the willow woods with this textured beanie that will provide you warmth and coziness when the cold wind blows!
The very simple design of it makes it a fun and quick project, ideal for a last minute gift: just choose a soft yarn in your favorite color (variegated are welcome!), put it on your DPNs (or circular needles if you prefer the Magic Loop technique), and a few hours later, you will have your own personal version of this lovely textured beanie.
Willow Wood Beanie is worked bottom up and in the round, using basic stitches (knits and purls) and simple shaping techniques.
The textured stitch, easily memorized, is written and charted.
This unisex pattern comes in 2 adult sizes:
adult (A): to fit head circumference 50.5-56 cm/20-22”, height 21 cm (8.25’’),
large adult (L): to fit head circumference (L) 56-61 cm/22-24”, height 23.5 cm (9.25”).
Yarn recommendation: I used Bouton d’Or Steppe, now discontinued. Bouton d’Or Laïka would also be ideal for this beanie.
You will find other yarn suggestions here on YarnSub.
