Willowherb Cowl
The Willowherb cowl is another iteration of my Willowherb Shawl pattern, but a much quicker (and simpler) knit! The subtle floral motifs look beautiful peeking out from under your winter coat, and can bring a little cheer to the colder, rainy seasons.
This cowl is worked from the bottom up in the round, with short rows incorporated to shape the bottom point. Lateral braids and eyelet lace frame the edges. The floral motifs are not embroidered on afterwards- they are worked while you knit using a technique called roosimine. While this pattern has a few ~spicier~ techniques, it is a quick knit worked in aran weight yarn, and video demonstrations are embedded in the pattern for visual learning.
