Willy Winky
This pattern uses US terminology.
It is written in a way to have just the right size for YOU. This means that you can change the yarn and hook size to match any size you want.
You can use super chunky blanket yarn with a large hook to make a ginormous Willy buddy, or you can use a tiny hook with tatting thread to make one the size of a keychain. It is totally up to you!
You will need to know how to work Back Post Single Crochet. These stitches are worked behind and around the post of the stitch in the row before. These are tricky stitches at first, but you get used to them after a while. Once you have placed your hook in the proper place, simply work like a normal single crochet.
When continuing the next row after your back post crochets, you have to re-enter the rounds by a very specific stitch. This isn’t SO important with this particular pattern, since the roundness of the shaft doesn’t need to be exact.
Images of these stitches are included.
