Wilson Shawl
An asymmetrical Tunisian crochet triangle shawl made with DK tonal yarn for an elegant accessory with beautiful cable details
This shawl was made for a dear friend who lost her daughter to a drunk driver. Years later, she still feels the immense grief of losing a child, so I wanted to create a shawl where the cables intertwined with each other to show that even if she is gone, her soul and life is still strongly intertwined with my friend.
Made using 2 skeins of DK weight tonal yarn, this shawl works up quickly. And there are cables, but you DO NOT need a cable needle. Instead, this is created using a faux cable by using raised stitches.
You will use a 9mm Tunisian crochet hook with a 30 inch cord.
