This duo of toe-up variations on traditional Turkish socks was
conceived when Elaine learned that there is a Turkish version of the Twelve Dancing Princesses.

Size: Ladies medium (Ladies large/ Mens medium; Mens large) to fit a foot circumference of 8 (9, 10) inches (20, 22.5, 25 cm). Length is adjustable.

Needles: US #1 1⁄2 (2.5 mm), set of five double-pointed needles or two 24-inch circular needle or sizes needed to obtain gauge.

Yarn: Classic Elite Yarns Alpaca Sox, 60% alpaca, 20% merino wool, 20% nylon, 450 yds (415 m) to 3.5 oz (100 g). One skein each of color #1816 (Oatmeal), #1830 (Bright Amber), #1870 (Watercress), #1832 (Cereza), #1883 (Summer Sky), #1895 (Byzantine Purple), and 1828 (Charcoal).

Notions: Waste yarn; tapestry needle for darning in ends; scissors; US size 2 (1.95mm) crochet hook if using Emily Ocker’s Circular Beginning for cast on.
