The pattern calls for a #7 / 1.65 mm steel hook and 400 yards of size 10 (bedspread weight) cotton thread for a final product measuring 17 inches. I worked this with one ball of Cebelia and had two yards left (i.e., I used less than 300 yards). My final product was a bit over 16 inches.

The pattern is 32 rounds.
