This cowl is named for the light purple Prairie Crocus which grows all over Alberta. I was thinking of Spring even though Winter is just around the corner.

The pattern decreases and increases reminded me of the bell-shaped flower of the Prairie Crocus, and I had just the right light-mauve yarn for it.
