Wind River

The Wind River hat combines a twisted knit ribbing with a simple textured panel of alternating knits and purls. This is a quick and cozy hat that knits up fast. Perfect for camping or hiking, whether in the Wind River Valley or else where.

One Size
Sized to fit the average adult head, 21” - 23” circumference.
(The size can be adjusted in increments of 8 stitches for a smaller or lager hat.)

Needles
US size 7 and 9 on 16 inch circular needles when working with Paton’s Classic Wool.
US Size 8 and 10 on 16 inch circulars needles when working with Plymouth Yarn’s Encore.

Yarn
Approximately 100 yards of worsted weight yarn for a fitted hat. 125 to 150 yrds for a hat with a more relaxed fit or slouch.
