“Wind Rose” is an asymmetrical shawl with an unusual shape.
It is knit in garter stitch stripes in a play of four colors.
It has the unusual shape of an elongated isosceles triangle.
The shawl is finished with I-cord borders for a tailored look.
You start knitting from the narrow tip of the shawl, so it can be made as long or as short as you want, depending on how much yarn you have!

Finished measurements:
245 cm – 96 ½ in along the longer side and 113 cm – 44 ½ in along the shorter side (after blocking).

First colour (FC) – BC GARN Tussah Tweed (Lace weight yarn; 100% silk: 250 m – 273 yds / 50 gr – 1.76 oz. skein): 1 skein (pale pink – tt 01);
Second colour (SC) – ROWAN Kidsilk Haze (Lace weight yarn; 70% mohair and 30% silk: 209 m – 229 yds / 25 gr – 0.88 oz. skein): 1 skein (dark fuchsia – SH 00678);
Third colour (TC) – ROWAN Kidsilk Haze (Lace weight yarn; 70% mohair and 30% silk: 209 m – 229 yds / 25 gr – 0.88 oz. skein): 1 skein (pale pink – SH 00653);
Fourth colour (FoC) – BC GARN Tussah Tweed (Lace weight yarn; 100% silk: 250 m – 273 yds / 50 gr – 1.76 oz. skein): 1 skein (dark fuchsia – tt 02).
Needles 4.5 mm – US 7.
If necessary, please adjust needle size to obtain the specified gauge.
Other:
Tapestry needle and scissors.
Pins and a tape measure for blocking.

Gauge:
12 sts and 30 rows = 10 cm – 4 in in garter stitch using FC (after blocking).

“Wind Rose” è uno scialle asimmetrico con una forma inconsueta.
È lavorato a maglia legaccio e un punto pizzo molto semplice, giocando con quattro colori.
Ha una forma inconsueta a triangolo isoscele molto allungato.
È rifinito con un bordo I-cord che dona un aspetto più curato allo scialle.
Si incomincia a lavorare da una punta, per cui sarà possibile realizzarlo in varie misure, a seconda della disponibilità di filato che si possiede!

Dimensioni finite:
245 cm lungo il lato più lungo e 113 cm lungo il lato più corto (dopo il bloccaggio).

Filato e ferri:
Primo colore (PC) – BC GARN Tussah Tweed (100% seta: 250 m per matassa da 50 gr): 1 matassa (rosa cipria – tt 01);
Secondo colore (SC) – ROWAN Kidsilk Haze (70% mohair e 30% seta: 209 m per gomitolo da 25 gr): 1 gomitolo (fuxia scuro – SH 00678);
Terzo colore (TC) – ROWAN Kidsilk Haze (70% mohair e 30% seta: 209 m per gomitolo da 25 gr): 1 gomitolo (rosa cipria – SH 00653);

Ferri numero 4.5 mm.
Se necessario modificare il numero dei ferri per ottenere il campione corretto.
