Designed to fit: 18“ slim all vinyl dolls like my twins Lena & Leroy from the Kidz n’ Cats ® series & comparable sized like Magic Attic ® dolls
Construction:
Worked flat; back and forth in rows. Pattern begins with sleeves worked first from cuff to armholes that are later joined to main body, (worked from bottom welt in one piece to armholes) for raglan shaping then worked together in one piece to ribbed stitched mock turtle-neckline, includes back button closure with buttonhole placement. Sleeves seamed at completion
Pattern Features:
Classic raglan shaping along with a traditional mock turtle-neckline forms the bases of this stylish wardrobe essential with line-by-line written instructions given throughout with option to work to measurement
Skill Level: Easy - Intermediate
Project uses basic stitches, simple color changes and minimal shaping and finishing
Materials:
120 – 130 yards (50 grams) Light Worsted # 3 weight or Sport 5ply weight including scraps for colorwork. Yarn Equivalent: 8ply UK, NZ, AU ]
Yarn Variation: Often I like to substitute yarn recommendation and make use of a medium worsted weight #4 weight wool blend along with smaller needles that gets pretty close to gauge
Gauge:
Using 3.25mm needles: 6 sts and 8 rows in 1 inch over stockinette stitch based on materials used
Gauge is average and subject to yarn choices and individual tension; Gauge achieved using stated needles and yarn recommendations, adjust needle size accordingly: Too many stitches, your tension is tight, change to a larger needle size, too few stitches, your tension is loose, change to a smaller needle size
Notions:
5 Buttons size 7/16” (11mm) + extra for working optional longer length, Darning Needle, 2 Stitch Holders
