Winding Woods Scarflette
From the pattern:
The Winding Woods scarflette features a central cable flanked by a pinecone lace pattern, giving the impression of a walk through the winter woods. And, knit in DK weight yarn with a generous 9 in (23 cm) width, it is certainly warm enough for winter walks. The keyhole opening makes it easy to keep the scarf securely in place no matter how windy it gets, and the length is perfect for keeping the upper chest warm without adding bulk under winter coats.
This pattern knits up quickly, and is available in 2 sizes to accomodate a wide range of heights; even greater customization can easily be achieved by adding or subtracting pattern repeats, if desired. Both written and charted instructions are included. Skills required include basic lace increases and decreases and basic cables.
