Needles: 4 mm / US 6 knitting needles 3.5 mm / US 4 circular needle, 40 cm (16”) length for neck
Always use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.

Notions: 2 stitch markers, stitch holders, scrap yarn, cable needle, 2 buttons 8.5 mm / ⅓” diameter

Notes: Windlass is worked flat in pieces—the shoulders are joined with a 3-needle cast off and the sides then seamed together. The neckband is picked up at the end and worked back and forth to create a side opening.
