Window Flowers Cheongsam
Stealing half a day of leisure in this transient life,
The paper-cut window flowers remain silent, responding to the cicadas’ song.
Delicate fingers fly with the needle,
A heart as calm as still water.
Waiting until the garment is finished and worn,
Gazing up at the dimly lit scene through the window.
Life comes and goes,
Without storms, without clear skies.
It’s a summer day, cicadas chirping outside the window. Sitting and crocheting, like a meditative state, looking back at the past, examining the present, and looking forward to the future. Amidst the bustling world, not getting attached to joy or sorrow, not concerned with personal gains and losses.
