During the pandemic when poppies were not on sale it was suggested by the media that we make and display our own poppies in our windows.
I came up with this design which has proven popular so I thought I would put pen to paper and share it.
The poppy is made first using a single thickness UK DK yarn and the base is made using 2 strands held together of white uk DK yarn.
The pattern is written in UK terms and is FREE !

The proceeds of any crochet poppies that you sell MUST be donated to British Legion or any of your own country’s Veterans Societies
