Finished cowl show is 33 inches/84 cm around and 6.5 inches/16.5 cm tall

I used partial balls of 3 colors to make a striped/color blocked slip stitch pattern. Use whole balls and/or add a fourth color to make a longer cowl.

This pattern was on About.com (which no longer exists) and has been deleted from their site, but for now it can still be found on the Internet Archive. They redirect and delete pages a lot so you may want to download/print to save.
