This shawl was inspired by season seven of the Outlander series.
The letters written by Claire and Jamie for Brianna and Roger provide windows in time for Brianna and Roger to know what happened to Claire and Jamie. This crocheted shawl represents these windows through time as openings in the finished fabric. The crescent shape allows the shawl to sit comfortably on the shoulders without having the tendency to slip off. Created using three skeins of Aran weight Plymouth Yarn, Textura Merino Select (Aran weight, 100% Merino, 100g/208m/228yds), this shawl is very soft, and a quick project to make. The variable thickness of the Textura yarn provides a cozy look to the finished garment. Colors pictured: Natural (A), Celadon Shadow (B), and Olive Shadow (C).
