Knit seamlessly from the top down, windrose takes shape as either a modern slouch or a classic cap. Concentric diamonds form the crown of both styles–the slouch features a repetition of the central motif, and the cap, an appealing unisex design, ends in columns of slipped stitches.

The pattern is written for a combination of magic loop and circular knitting, and includes both charted and written directions.
