This is a loose knit linen vest, duster length, with very deep armholes, meant to flow with the summer breeze.
Knit on larger needles to add drape to the fabric.
Yarn: Rowan Pure Linen : Approx 700 yards
3 skeins #391 Kalahari 2 skeins #395 Arizona
20 sts = 4” Size 7 needle or needle to achieve gauge.
Some measurements:
Center back, top to bottom = 30” (not including the 2” collar)
Total width of front at the armhole decreases =11” + 4” band.
Total width of front at bottom = 15”
Width of back at the armhole decrease row = 21”
This is meant to be flowing and loosely knit.
