The Windward Lace Tee Pattern was inspired by the path that sail boats take when they are sailing upwind. Since heading directly into the wind is impossible, sail boats must tack back and forth to get to a destination in the Windward direction.

The Windward Lace Tee uses North Light Fibers Seaside Yarn, a blend of superfine merino and cotton. This is the perfect yarn for a lace tee that can be worn year-round.

The sweater is knit in four pieces and sewn together. Then the neck edge is bound off in the round.
