Windward Pullover
A fisherman’s rib elevates this simple top-down pullover by creating a beautiful cowl collar, warm sleeve cuffs and a cozy bottom. The simplicity of the pullover can be altered by using a variegated yarn which will only enhance the allure.
I love the Fisherman’s rib because of the texture and drape it brings to the project. This is a way to use that stitch to bring some fun to an otherwise simple top down sweater.
The yarn I used is Baah Shasta- but any worsted weight yarn will work just as beautifully. My other personal favorite is Madelinetosh Vintage. This would work with Sweet Georgia Yarns Superwash Worsted as well or Dream in Color Classy. Or for a more budget friendly choice Plymouth Yarn Encore or Berrocco Vintage.
Pattern requires:
1000 (1200, 1300, 1400, 1600) yards Baah Shasta or Worsted Weight yarn
500 (600, 650, 700, 800) grams yarn based on gauge
